2011 Holiday Parade

"The Holidays - A Time To Celebrate Our Heritage" The Reading Downtown Improvement District would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate in one of Berks County's most exciting yearly events – the Reading Holiday Parade. We hope you’ll join us – whether you create a float, dress up in costume, play music, or march along.

This year the parade will be held Saturday, November 19th from 9:00 am to approximately 11:30 am. The parade will begin at 11th & Penn Streets and will end at 2nd & Penn Streets. A reviewing stand will be at 5th & Penn Streets. Many of the parade participants will have treats for children along the parade route.

The Grand Marshalls this year are Michael Ehlerman and Christ G. Kraras. These men are great examples of people who "give" to our community all year through. Help us salute them for all that they do.
