FREE OUTDOOR CONCERTs
Adding to the growing momentum of activity in downtown Reading, the Downtown Alive outdoor concert series presented by Weidenhammer brings nationally touring acts that perform for free in center city during the summer and fall. Each concert features a festival atmosphere and includes food trucks and beer for sale.
Started in 2015, the annual series is staged on Penn Street by the Reading Downtown Improvement District. Berks County Community Foundation provides major funding for the concerts. In addition, the Berks County Convention Center Authority provides financial support.
